United Way Free Tax Filing Program
The Free Tax Filing Program increases available income of families by training volunteer tax workers to complete and e-file income taxes for people that make less than the Bay County median income, senior citizens, and retired veterans; and returns over $2.2 million in tax credits and refunds to Bay County.

FREE Income Tax Assistance

The United Way of Bay County FREE Income Tax Assistance Program was utilized by over 1,700 Bay County residents during the 2014 tax season.
The services were provided to low-income individuals and families as well as senior citizens and the disabled. The program has been provided by United Way of Bay County for over 12 years and has proven to bring money back to the residents of Bay County through millions of dollars in tax credits and refunds.
Thank you to the trained volunteers from the United Way Retired Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) who prepared and e-filed the tax returns as well as the local businesses that willingly opened their doors as a location for the appointments to take place.
