How We Help

• Community Investment- United Way funds many critical programs at local agencies that improve our community. In 2009, United Way invested $791,671 into 36 programs at 18 organizations.
• American Dream Initiative - The American Dream is a new leadership giving initiative United Way recently created to meet the employment and education needs of parents and caregivers with elementary school age children.
• Community Planning - United Way collaborates with many organizations and individuals to identify and address the needs in our community to ensure that our financial and volunteer resources are best utilized.
